NONE OF THE ABOVE:
Dismantling the School to Prison Pipeline
NONE OF THE ABOVE: Dismantling the School-to-Prison Pipeline is a community-based, multimedia collaboration exploring the intersection of mental health, race and ethnicity, under-resourced schools, educational policies, and incarceration. This project brings centerstage the multiple viewpoints of those caught in its pathway: students, teachers, parents, administrators, school police, attorneys, juvenile justice officials, the incarcerated, and others.
Based on interviews and workshops in more than 20 counties, the performances, interactive exhibit, and digital media bring together diverse stakeholders who share their personal experiences with the school-to-prison pipeline and offer their best solutions for dismantling it.
