The program runs August 8-12, with a closing performance on Friday
evening at 5:30pm. Workshops include theater games and exercises;
dialogue and discussion; spoken word and poetry; and photography and
mask making. We will be working with teaching artists Howard Craft,
Teri Hairston, Ashley Florence, Ron Garcia, as well as two Duke interns
Michael Oliver and Kimberly Welch. The short performance piece will
travel to middle schools to promote dialogue between teachers and
students and peers.
